Depression and Moon

Recently there was news about suicidal cases of student who failed to perform well in their examinations. Such types of incident showed us that our progressive life is very difficult. In our daily life there is so much stress about everything. Stress is necessary as stress is one of the factors of promoting feeling of progression. If you do something perfectly you have pressure to perform the same thing again, but when this stress affect your performance negatively then it will create depression. World’s largest factor of disease is depression or stress. It’s not strange to see that the numbers of patients in developed countries are more than the developing countries or undeveloped countries. A father gives same toy to two children of same age, one child accepts it’s heartily and other child deny taking it and starting crying. There is no scientific or specific reason for our choices. If somebody like something it’s his choice. But Astrology helps us to predict the choices made by a person. “चन्द्रमा मनसो जातकः” Moon signify the mental strength of person. If moon is strong enough then the person can cop up with adverse condition with an ease. If lagnesh and Moon is well placed then role of circumstances is less effective. 1) Through Paksh Bala :- In a lunar month we have two cycles of moon. Waning moon (शुक्ल पक्ष) and Waxing moon (कृष्ण पक्ष). Moon is most powerful on full moon day (पूर्णिमा)and weakest on New moon day (अमावस्या).Moon gains strength day by day from new moon day to full moon day and then losing its strength from full moon day to new moon day. In between this period moon is quite strong between Shukla paksha Ashtami to Krishna paksha Ashtami. (When the distance between sun and moon is more than that of 4 signs.)
2) Planets effecting Moon: - Moon is the karaka of nourishment as well as of mother. The karakattawas of planet aspecting moon is nurture by moon in the native. Planets can be classified into three category a) Satwik: - Sun, Moon and Jupiter b) Rajsik: - Mercury and Venus c) Tamsik: - Saturn, Mars, Rahu and Ketu. If moon is influence by Satwik planets then person is quite methodical. They are not bothered about the result of their action.
If moon is in the effects of Rajsik planets then person want to do a lot of things at a time. Money and Name will be predominant motive of this category.
If moon is influence by Tamsik planets then the person have resistivity to all actions. They have tendency to resist any idea whether right or wrong. They also don’t bother about public reactions (same as Satwik planets).

3) Position of Moon: Position of moon can be classified into three different categories. They are :
a) Bhava positions: - Inauspicious in Trik bhava (6-8-12 bhava).

In above four categories if moon is placed in artha or kaam bhava then there are possibilities of getting depress, but other than that moon in artha and kaama bhava show progressive behavior. The rest two categories are good for religious and nirvana.
b) Sign positions: - Moon is generally good in all signs but Cancer, Taurus and Pisces are more favorable then others, but on tatwa basis we can classify signs into four groups :
Fiery (kshatriya) Earthy (Vaishya) Airy (Shudra) Watery (Brahmin)

In all four category natives under earthy (वैश्य) signs are quite possessive, and due to this behavior they are more prone to stress and depression.
c) Nakshatra positions: - Nakshatra can be classified under three different categories.(according to MANSAGARI)
Deva Nakshatra: - Person born in Deva nakshatra are charitable, intelligent and simple hearted, frugal eaters and scholars.
Manushya Nakshatra: - Arrogant, wealthy, big eyes and try to keep people under his control.
Rakshasa Nakshatra: - He will have extremely fearful appearance, be confrontational, lacking in love and a speaker of ruthless words.
In all the three groups of nakshatra the intermediate group (मनुष्य गण) is more prone to depression. Deva and Rakshas gana are determined to their functions and characteristics they generally don’t bother about others, but Manushya gana wants to make an impression on others so because of this propensity they are more prone to depression. There is no doubt financially Manushya gana and Rajsik planets combinations make native prosperous, but stress is mainly owned by this combinations.

If a person born in Deva Nakshatra with Satwik planets having an effect on moon then the person is motivated by divine forces. He will be egoless and intelligent person.
If a person born in Rakshas Gana with Tamsik planets effect then the native can show his negative side in front of people with an ease. They are quite practical and cruel. If person of this category provoked, will rise like a mad elephant. They do not believe in pomp and show.

Rakshas Gana + Rajsik planets or Manushya Gana + Tamsik Planets – Person can adopt wrong way to be rich and can create fake personality in front of people. Source of income may be illicit. They can do anything to be famous and rich. Positive side of this combination is they have strong will power.
