PUSHKAR NAVAMSHA PART I

Classical texts further classify these navamsha under Pushkara navamsha. According to Vidhyamadhaviyam Part I p. 30-31

“Mesh Simha Chapeshu Saptamnavamo, Vrish Kanya Mrigeshu Panchamtrityo, Mithun TulaKumheshw aashtam shashto, Karki keet Meeneshwaadhtrityo, Athe Pushkar Sangya Navamsha.”

There are only 24 Pushkar navamsha out of total 108 navamsha. Each Sign carry two pushkara navamsha .It means the possibility of a particular planet to be in Pushkar navamsha is only 22.2%.There is a direct link between nakshatra and navamsha. It is very significant that Nakshatra quarter is identified with navamsha. Both are not only of the same extent (3*20’) but their lines of segregation are also identical.

Result of Planet Placed in Pushkar Navamsha
Chandrakala Nadi Vol. II Part I p.12 –
Ravyadyo Griha sarve Pushkaranshe Prajaayte
Laxmi Katakshvaan bhogi dhanikah kirtimaan sukhi.

If all the seven planets beginning with the Sun (Sun to Saturn) are posited in Pushkara Navamsha, the native born earns much prosperity, enjoys all comforts of life, is very wealthy, illustrious and blissful. Position of more planets in Pushkara Navamshas is one more manner to assess the merit of a nativity.
Natural Significance(karak) of a planet will boost up if it is placed in Pushkara Navamsha. Take an example of Jupiter, if it is placed in pushkar navamsha the native will be more responsible, wealthy, religious, have force of attraction in his personality. Eg,.Amitabh Bachhan. If Venus occupy pushkara navamsha then it will give ability to understand Pros & Cons of a problem, material Development,
Luxurious life, Practical knowledge e.g., Indira Gandhi.

Are they equally good ?...
When I was trying to check the results of pushkar navamsha. Mostly the results are same as given in classical text like Deva keralam that is the karakattwas excel when the planet placed in Pushkar
Navamsha. But in some cases, results vary drastically and even result mention in classical text contradicts each other.
Take an example of sun placed in Aries Sign Bharani nakshatra third pada. In this case it is in thula navamsha (Neech navamsha) but yet in pushkara navamsha . According to many classical books Planets exalted in signs are if debilitated in Navamsha they give debilitation results.
Whenever Venus, Mercury or Sun is exalted in Chart and debilitated in navamsha they always are in Pushkar navamsha.
